Jason, clearly fascinated,
decided that Tyrion was not fit to be a mere servant here,
and came up to him to teach combat skills,
from time to time, when it was not busy in the arena,
without asking for payment or anything.
One day, a mercenary named Jason visited the arena.
Jason, who claimed to have come for small money-making,
looked around the arena leisurely when he saw the
familiar warrior-eye in Tyrion,
who was just passing through.
When Tyrion turned adult,
the debt was so huge he wouldn’t
be able to pay off in 20 years.
That was Tyrion’s debut to the arena,
and he beat the champion on the very same day.
The arena needed the low-level mercenaries so that
the existing champions can overpower them
for entertainment anyway,
so they reluctantly accepted Tyrion’s application.
And when he was fully confident in himself,
he submitted the application to fight in the
arena to the owner.
Tyrion possessed more potential than expected and
learned everything Jason had to offer right away.
Even after Jason left, Tyrion trained by himself
over and over in the dark corner of the arena.
A year later,
Tyrion had become the best hero of the arena,
and he became a household name in the whole area.
But Tyrion left all the fame,
paid off all the debt using the prize money,
and left as a free man.
He became a lone mercenary from
a former champion to do only two things:
To find his parents and ask why they abandoned him,
and to find Jason who was there for him when everything
was difficult and help him out however he wants.
Tyrion is gathering information for those,
wandering everywhere.
