Thanks to his work, Neviile family became an
untouchable power, unchallenged by other lords,
and Klose became the fear of other lords.
He naturally became a soldier, given it was a family business,
and fought most of his life in the frontline of battles
for Neville family reputation.
Klose was born to a widely known soldier family,
the Walkers, as a second child.
The Walkers pledged its loyalty to Neville family.
Retired legendary
mercenary captain
Klose

He promised that he will protect her from anything
forever and got married to her.
His life did not really change, even after starting a family.
He was still a soldier, loyal to Neville family,
and he was often away from home for the war.
She was called ‘Kaho’, a weak, soft being, so different from
Klose, yet so beautiful. He could never stop thinking about her,
and on his way from a victorious expedition,
he found her again in the Udyr forest.
This one-way life of his found a small rabbit trail, all of a sudden.
Klose, who went on an expedition under the
order of the lord to stop the looting of another lord,
met a woman in the Udyr forest that he was passing by.

He went everywhere, from clinics to monasteries in the castle,
to find cure for his wife, but failed.
He went outside of the castle and searched for doctors and
priests, but her condition only got worse.
He never slept while searching, so his health got worse too.
People saw him suffering, and a rumor circulated saying that
Kaho was a witch, and she bewitched Klose,
who used to be strong and persistent, to make him weaker.
One day, Klose came back home from an expedition,
only to find his beloved wife on the floor.
That rumor reached the ear of the lord of Neville family,
and the lord kidnapped Klose’s wife for a witch trial,
while Klose was out for an expedition.

Klose came home to find his wife kidnapped.
He resented this fate and charged to the castle,
and barely saved his wife who was being tortured.
Klose, once a most loyal soldier to now a fugitive,
could start a new career as a mercenary,
under the protection of other lords who thought highly of
his skills.
There was only one condition: His wife gets treated.
He moved from an area to another,
to find famous doctors and priests, without ever settling.
He managed to bring about brilliant war results,
but despite his best effort, no one could treat his wife.

And... One spring day, filled with breeze and flower scent.
Kaho, with smile, left her last words saying that
she wanted to be buried in the forest where she was born,
and died.
He had her funeral, bade farewell to his mercenary days,
and moved into the Udyr forest. He settled in the
very middle of the forest and built a lodge with trees.
The lodge is called ‘Kaho’.
There is a preciously cared grave, dedicated to Kaho.
He manages the lodge by himself but is not very nice
to visitors. Whenever visitors make a fuss,
disrupting his wife’s calm rest,
Klose’s axe will not know forgiveness.
